Overview
CTT Willenhall is a testing laboratory in located in the West Midlands close to Birmingham.
The CTT Willenhall laboratory offers a comprehensive range of mechanical tests: Tensile Testing (BS EN and ASTM) 400 N - 600 kN, Charpy Impact Testing (BS EN and ASTM) -196°C to room temperature, Hardness Testing - Vickers and Rockwell (BS EN), Brinell (BS EN and ASTM), Elevated Temperature testing up to +800°C (BS EN and ASTM).
The laboratory operates a quality system accredited by UKAS, compliant with the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025 (“The general requirements for competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories”). Our staff members are highly experienced with our Operations Manager having over 20 years experience in the field of metallurgical testing and investigative metallurgy, gained over a wide range of industries.
Chemical Analysis is undertaken by various methods in our laboratory with the chief chemist having over 35 years experience.
We are also able to undertake Metallurgical investigations of components etc, to establish the integrity of various types of “Ferrous and Non-Ferrous” materials.
